Our MISSISSAUGA BRANCH has an exciting opportunity for a WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR to join our team!

What You Will Do:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse, focusing on managing receiving, shipping, and inventory discrepancies. You will work with your team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:

• Oversee the receiving of all incoming products ensuring accuracy including brake cores

• Oversee logistics to ensure product delivery including dispatching trucks and communicating with drivers

• Schedule and assign picking, packing and dispatch staff

• Manage warranty claims, vendor returns and special-order product returns

• Ensure accurate and organized bin maintenance within the warehouse

• Supervise staff by following up on completed tasks, responding to changing workloads and monitoring operational goals

• Champion FGI’s safety culture, ensuring all staff follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE and conducting “toolbox talks” with staff

• Assist the Warehouse Manager with coaching and leading staff to follow FGI’s customer service standards and core values

• Support annual inventory counts

• Assist the Warehouse Manager with recruitment, selection, training and orientation of new warehouse staff

• May have direct reports to manage and evaluate

• Other duties as assigned

What We Require:

• Five years of progressively responsible warehouse experience including two years of supervisory experience, combined with a high school diploma or other equivalency certificate

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems and inventory systems is preferred

• Experience with RF Scanner, forklift operation and dangerous goods is preferred

• Experience in aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required

• A valid driver’s license and a recent driver’s abstract demonstrating no major infractions as defined by Company standards, is preferred but not required

• Must be able to meet the physical requirements: Lift up to 75-100lbs, frequent standing and walking, reading small print and numbers

• Must have open availability including Saturdays

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal

• Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence
